Very cute little shop. Tried the ham and brie croissant and the apricot scone. Both were mouthwatering!

Closed at 10:45 on a Monday when Google said they'd be open. There's not much in this area. I drove out of my way to get here. Call ahead to make sure they're not randomly closed, I guess?

Slow service

This is an awesome shop. Roomy, warm, and friendly with a delicious selection of pastries and really good coffee. From Astoria to Florence we gave it a "top three" rating, plus it's right in the center of the Wheeler antique district.

The food here is fantastic! My husband had a breakfast sandwich and I hade a veggie quiche. The service was fast also!

Amazing service, very friendly staff. Great pastries and as someone who drinks coffee regularly I can safely say the coffee here is phenomenal. Will definately be back next time I'm in the area.

The Roost has your morning coffee and delicious homemade food, (homemade english muffins for breakfast sandwiches???!!! Yummy!!!) and has inviting areas to sit down and take in the Nehalem Bay. What really makes it special though is the owner Heidi Cummins. She is like your Mom in the kitchen, always has a big smile and ready to make something special for you--even the occasional hug is not unheard of. Wi-Fi is also available. Highly recommend for local or traveler.

I absolutely enjoy this place. It's small but cozy. Try the Egg Salad Sandwich, just amazing. All the food is excellent. Lattes and more.

Fabulous pastries. Made fresh every morning and served with a smile. This is a great stop when you're out and about at the coast. Easy to find on 101 in Wheeler between Rockaway and Manzanita.

Just stopped in for a couple coffees and a donut. I've been waiting to find a good donut in the States and I found one! It was lighter and fluffier than I'm used to (more like a cake), but I think that's what I loved about it- it was so delicious! On top of the great donut was great service. The woman who helped us was so kind and made us feel right at home. We will certainly stop by this coffee shop again when we're in the area. Thanks!

Good coffee place and okay breakfast stuff. Tasted like they possibly baked it the day before, but not bad.

I went to get a coffee and a scone and i frequent there regularly, they have wonderful food and coffee, but today two ladies came in and the owners just kept chatting away about Portland, Maine, not keeping in mind of other peiple waiting, after a lenghtly time, i left, without coffee and a scone or a breakfast sandwich. I was terribly upset, however good they might be with their food products, customer service was not ideal today, its one thing to be friendly, but another to keep forgetting others who are waiting too. I wont return,

Great View good baked goods slow pace wheeler sit awhile

I didn't find the service to be super friendly, but certainly not bad. A little slow, but we didn't mind. We enjoyed our coffees and it was right off the highway which made it a quick detour on our way home.

Wonderful coffee house with a small selection of eats and pastries. I'll be back to this wonderful coffee house in the Wheeler Inn.

The best coffee, pastries, and baked goods we had on our trip up the Oregon Coast. Excellent espresso, freshly baked English muffins to die for (both in the breakfast sandwich and plain); an absolutely divine fig cake, and the friendliest staff we’ve encountered! Only regret is not having enough stomach to try everything!
